I like the look of this phone. The HTC HD2 is a big screen in your pocket: 4.3 inches of high-resolution touch cinema, yet housed in an amazingly skinny shell. It is the world’s first capacitive touch technology to run under Windows: Windows Mobile 6.5 to be precise. Just to be clear, capacitive is the name for a technology made famous on Apple’s iPhone. It relies on the electrical properties of the human body to detect when and where on the display you are touching. Also for the first time in Windows, HTC has allied the touchscreen with its HTC Sense concept: customising the HD2 with favourite apps on the home screen. It is undoubtedly impressive and user-friendly, with a logical layout and many one-touch operations to watch, browse and flip through your stuff.
The sheer clarity and definition of the display is remarkable, it makes web page and document viewing not only feasible, but pleasurable. Navigation is slick, straightforward and easy to control; viewing is crisp and rich. The HTC HD2 weighs 157g but somehow, because it is so thin, the heft of the HD2 enhances its attraction. It lets you know it’s there and gives you something to press against. Features include HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. It has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, a 3.5mm audio jack, digital compass, FM radio, accelerometer and a 1230mAh battery to keep everything running. Tip: If you make a static noise, people will think you are using a walkie talkie. - Ling
No, "free gifts" are never free! You only get what you pay for. By far, you are better off getting the best deal on the phone and tariff you want and ignoring "free" gift offers! Often substitute gifts are sent. That's useless. - Ling
I measure the true monthly cost of your phone. I add everything you will pay and divide it by the number of months to make it easy for you - Ling
LINGsMOBILES is a price checking site. I use software to analyse the top 10 handsets sold in the UK and show the very best offers on these phones. This makes your best choices much easier to find - Ling

I am Ling! I am Chinese whirlwind. I live and work in Gateshead. As seen refusing cash on Dragons' Den and I run LINGsCARS, supplying over £28m new-cars a year - Ling
I already supply the cheapest cars in the UK. I now use my systems to search over 64,000 mobile deals and tariffs. I have tiny overheads and margins - Ling
I have no network allegiance. I compare all, and only display the best offers. You might have a preference due to local coverage or web data rates, or a particular handset - Ling

Me too! There are so many combinations. Mobile companies use confusion marketing, it is deliberate. I try to get rid of the rubbish and only show the best few deals for you - Ling
